Spring Lawn Care

Indiana has recently experienced some warmer days. The promise of spring is upon us, and you know what that means: Now is the time to get your lawn ready to grow and thrive in the months ahead. You don’t want to wait too much longer with it comes to spring lawn care, or you could miss your window to give your grass the good start it needs. At Green Works Lawn Care, we recommend that you begin fertilizing your lawn somewhere between March 1 and mid-April. This first application is important to our six-step lawn care process because it’s a slow-release, organic-blended fertilizer combined with crabgrass control. You don’t want to let that pesky stuff even take root, so it’s best to start early. After this first lawn application, we’ll set you up with a fertilization schedule for the rest of the year so you can keep your lawn it its best shape year round. Each step in our process is geared toward what Indiana lawns need during that particular season. If you haven’t already, call our team soon to set up your first spring fertilization treatment, and create your annual lawn-care plan. Green Works is based in Carmel, IN, and we serve the surrounding communities of Indianapolis, Fishers, Brownsburg, Broad Ripple, Zionsville, and Noblesville. We work hard to better our community and our world, not only through quality lawn care, but also with partnerships in impoverished areas across the globe. Our local services include fertilization, aeration, mowing, mulching, insect control, organic lawn services, and more. Let us help you give your grass the start it needs this spring. Contact Green Works at (317) 663-0222 during regular business hours, or fill out our contact form any time to get your free lawn-care estimate from one of our dedicated professionals.     photo credit: A panic of daffodils via photopin (license)
