Schedule Your Fall Lawn Aeration Today

Here we are in the middle of summer, and aerating your lawn is likely the last thing on your mind. You’re busy mowing that green grass, grilling out with neighbors, and enjoying those warm evening temperatures outdoors. However, at Green Works Lawn Care, our fall aeration schedule can fill up fast, so now is the time to get on the schedule.

What is aeration?

If you’ve never aerated your lawn before, now is a good time to start. Simply put, aeration allows your grass to breathe. Using specialized equipment, we remove small plugs of earth from your lawn. These small holes let oxygen and nutrients get down into the soil and into your yard’s root system.

Why should I aerate in the fall?

At Green Works Lawn Care, we recommend that Indiana residents include aeration in their fall lawn-care plan. Here’s why: Indiana soil tends to be pretty compact due to high concentration of clay. In order for that soil to get the proper nutrients during the cold winter months, yards often need some help, and aeration does just that.

How do I schedule aeration service?

Residents in and around Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Broad Ripple, and the nearby areas barely have to lift a finger to schedule lawn aeration. You can contact our crew here at Green Works Lawn Care anytime at (317) 663-0222 to make an appointment. The sooner you call, the sooner we can get you on the schedule.
