Seeding
The idea for Green Works Lawn Care was born when our owner, Bill Greenwood, started mowing for his neighbors. Impressed with his attention to detail, horticultural knowledge, and friendly personality, his neighbors began asking him to do other yard work as well.
Sprouting
To meet customers’ requests, Greenwood founded Green Works Lawn Care in 1997, expanding services to include lawn aeration, insect control, fertilization, and more.
Flourishing
Today, we care for hundreds of customers. As a family-owned-and-operated business, we offer the high-quality services of a large company with the attentiveness and personable service of a small company. Our reputation for providing innovative programs and incredible customer care now precedes us. Much of our new business is generated through the referrals of satisfied customers. However, our story doesn’t stop here. We firmly believe in social responsibility and are dedicated to planting seeds in impoverished communities worldwide. Affiliations & Licenses
We’re licensed through Purdue University and have our commercial pesticide license through the Indiana State Chemist. These licenses keep us up-to-date on the industry’s latest laws, regulations, and products. We also belong to the Indiana Professional Lawn & Landscape Association and a yard-care resource website.
